Southern Power currently owns or operates more than 2,115 megawatts of wind generating capacity at 13 facilities operating or under construction in Kansas, Maine, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington and West Virginia. In April 2020, the company announced its first wind facility in West Virginia, the 56-MW Beech Ridge II Wind Facility.
